The beautiful Mo came to us from a rural pound as a stray around christmas time 2011. With one brown eye and one blue eye he was already something special. Once we collected Mo we noticed he had a small lump on his right eye which looked like a burst blood vessel or a pimple. After a day or so it looked like it had gotten slighty bigger so off to the vets for all kinds of tests and scans on it. It turned out to be cancerous and our vets told us we got it just in time before it had spread anywhere else in his body. The best option - remove the eye.

The pound who fouund Mo, told us he was 9, but he pounced around and played like a pup with 2 of his foster sisters at the time, the 3 of them (dubbed Ennie, Meanie & Mo) would wreak havoc together! there was no way this boy could be 9! Even after his surgery Mo continued playing and loving life, he bumped into a few things, but still had the best cat-like pounce we have ever seen, in one jump he would suddenly appear on our laps for cuddles.

Mo has since been adopted by a wonderful family who have adopted from us before, he goes to work with them, and plays with his new beagle companion, a true success story!

Mo - Total Vet Cost $1601.40
